The need
Your invoices must show the right bank to pay into, especially with several companies or factoring. Typing the IBAN by hand invites omissions and mistakes.
What you gain
Company default bank
Flag one of your company accounts as default: it is proposed automatically on every customer invoice and order.
Bank per customer
A customer can have its own recipient bank, with a separate value for each company of a multi-company database.
From order to invoice
The bank chosen on the sales order is carried over automatically to the invoices created from it.
Printed bank block
Posted invoices show IBAN, BIC/SWIFT and an optional note in a dedicated block, without duplicating the standard Odoo line.
Subrogation note
A free text attached to the account, such as a factoring mention, prints together with the bank details.
Quotes and orders
Quotations and orders can also show the bank details, through an option set per company and adjustable on each order.
How it works
Declare your accounts
Enter your company bank accounts and allow sending money on them: Odoo requires it before an invoice can be posted.
Pick the default account
Tick the default flag on the account to propose and enter the subrogation note if you need one.
Refine per customer
On the customer form, Invoicing tab, set the recipient bank specific to that customer for the active company.
Invoice as usual
Create orders and invoices normally: the bank is resolved by order of priority and stays editable by hand.
Print the invoice
Once the invoice is posted, its PDF shows the bank details block with IBAN, BIC/SWIFT and note.

Frequently asked questions
This version targets Odoo 20.0, Community or Enterprise. It only depends on the accounting and sales modules.
The first matching criterion wins: manual choice, linked order, customer bank, payment method, default bank, sales journal, then the standard Odoo choice.
No, a posted invoice never changes. Draft invoices do follow later edits made on the order or on the customer form.
No, they stay untouched. No bank of your company is proposed on a vendor bill and the standard line is kept.
It follows the same selection rules. The bank block only prints when the bank of your company carries a subrogation note.
Your company bank account must be trusted. Enable sending money on that account, which is a standard Odoo rule.
Yes. Each document is resolved with its own company: the customer value, default bank and accounts of that company only.
The fields added by the module disappear. The standard recipient bank of invoices is kept.
Scope
It handles the recipient bank of customer invoices, customer credit notes and sales orders, company by company, without touching vendor bills.
