Closings without all-nighters
Your accounting should reflect the business, not chase it three weeks late.
Invoices arrive by email. Statements are ticked off by hand. Analytics is rebuilt in a spreadsheet at every month end. When closing time comes, everything piles up.
With Odoo, accounting receives entries as they happen from sales and purchasing. Bank reconciliation suggests matches. Cash flow reads without reconstruction.
The month-end pain points
- Documents missing at closing time.
- Bank reconciliation done line by line.
- Customer reminders sent by guesswork.
- Analytics rebuilt outside the tool.
- Cash flow whose trend is known only late.
These repetitive tasks tie up valuable skills. An accountant should check and advise rather than re-key.

E-invoicing: what to know and prepare
The French e-invoicing reform concerns companies subject to VAT and established in France. The calendar in force to date: since 1 September 2026, all companies must be able to receive electronic invoices. The obligation to issue them applies from that date to large companies and mid-sized companies. Small and medium-sized companies as well as micro-enterprises will issue from 1 September 2027.
This means choosing an approved platform and checking that your customer data is complete. During scoping we check that your Odoo configuration, customer records and validation workflows are ready. Connection details are confirmed with the publisher and your transmission platform.
Short answer: your deadline depends on the size of your company. Check it before launching the project.
