Description:
In a quotation, when adding a product, the user starts typing the product reference (e.g. "pump"). Odoo then runs an advanced search on the text entered ("pump") and displays the results in a dropdown ("pump 1", "pump ABC" ...), in no defined order. Pressing Enter at that point makes Odoo add the first search result to the product line, even if it only loosely matches the typed word (e.g. "supump").
This behavior is not suited to customers who produce large numbers of quotations by keyboard and know their product references perfectly (typing "reference" + Enter).
This custom module restricts Odoo's search and selection to the product whose reference exactly matches the user's input. For example, when the user types "pump" and presses Enter, only the product with the reference "pump" is added to the quotation line.
