Tradition & Future, with a coffee in the right hand, an action plan in the left — without forgetting Belgian beer and good camaraderie.

Odoo Experience is fast approaching. The members of the Odoo Synergie association – Network of French-Speaking Odoo Integrators are meeting on site to exchange best practices, lessons learned and fresh ideas. On the agenda: a common time slot (time to be decided together this week), a shared coffee ☕️ – our tradition – and a family photo to capture the moment 📸. Goal: to leave with very concrete actions for the year ahead.

Why Odoo Experience is THE moment for integrators

Odoo Experience is not just a trade show. It is the time when:

  • products are unveiled (vision, roadmap, standard new features),
  • best practices are compared (methodology, quality, project governance),
  • alliances are confirmed (integrators, publisher, ecosystem),
  • ideas turn into roadmaps.

For French-speaking integrators, it is a chance to make our voice heard – together – and to carry what makes our market strong, complementing the publisher: a demand for rigor (tradition), combined with a desire to innovate (the future).

Odoo Synergie – who are we?

Odoo Synergie – Network of French-Speaking Odoo Integrators is an association that brings together professionals who share the same conviction:

together, we go faster, further and… more efficiently.

Our purpose: to pool best practices, promote skills, structure the dialogue with the publisher, and grow the whole French-speaking community.

Our principles:

  • Openness: room for sincere exchanges and field feedback.
  • Pragmatism: concrete deliverables rather than wishful thinking.
  • Ethics: respect for customers, peers and rules.
  • Knowledge transfer: we document, we train, we share.

The "coffee & coordination" meeting

  • Common time slot: set together this week (comment with your availability / send us a message).
  • Format: 45 to 60 minutes, standing, coffee in hand.
  • Goal: align our expectations, list priority workstreams, assign the first actions.
  • Bonus: Synergie family photo to capture the moment (and prove we can smile without a keyboard).

Official action plan: preparing the meeting

  • Action plan for the strategic committees — in direct continuity with our last meeting, with identification of potential members.
  • Committees & leads :
    • Relations with the publisher — led by Charles Pluyette
    • Events & Communication, institutional relations & decision-makers — led by Charline HEURTAULT
    • Training and partnerships with schools — led by Dylan Waltzing
  • Actions already completed and decisions made: consolidated beforehand to share a clear recap on the day.
  • Partnership spirit: factual messages, shared objectives and co-construction with the publisher.

Priority workstreams

We focus our energy on three workstreams driven by the working groups — co-built with the publisher and the ecosystem:

1) Co-construction with the publisher & service quality (lead: Charles Pluyette)

  • Objectives: align expectations and practices, streamline support paths, promote skills.
  • Deliverables :
    • Shared framing note (templates & mutual commitments),
    • Support routing path (SLA, roles, indicators),
    • Skills framework & badges aligned with the publisher's roadmap.

2) Events & communication, institutional relations & decision-makers (lead: Charline Heurtault)

  • Objectives: make our best practices visible, publicize use cases, structure the dialogue with professional organizations.
  • Deliverables :
    • Common communication kit (talking points, referenceable customer cases),
    • Calendar of speaking slots & events,
    • Sector studies (SMEs/mid-caps, industry, trading, retail, services).

3) Training & partnerships with schools (lead: Dylan Waltzing)

  • Objectives: develop a talent pool, harmonize frameworks, make it easier to enter the profession.
  • Deliverables :
    • French-speaking Odoo skills framework (functional & technical),
    • Odoo Campus Kit (syllabus, case studies, mini-projects),
    • Cross-mentoring program between integrators.

What we want to bring to (and take back from) Odoo Experience

  • Usable lessons learned: "what works / what gets stuck / how to do better".
  • Points of contact on the product & support side: who to see, on which topics, with which factual elements.
  • A continuous improvement protocol: our common indicators (project quality, customer satisfaction, time-to-value, adoption rate).
  • A schedule: 90 days, 6 months, 12 months, with a clear owner per deliverable.

And above all: a mindset. We test, we document, we share.

Join the initiative

  • Are you a French-speaking integrator? Join the on-site meeting, share your availability, propose a 5-minute topic.
  • Are you a customer or partner? Come and discuss your real challenges: our working groups thrive on concrete cases.

Want to talk beforehand? Contact us and let's have a call before the event. We promise to bring the (virtual) coffee; you bring the (real) problem!

For those in a hurry

  • When: at Odoo Experience (common time slot confirmed this week).
  • What: coffee, coordination, family photo.
  • Why: to leave with concrete actions and useful deliverables.
  • How: playing as a team, without posturing, with method.

See you very soon on site. Smiling photo strongly recommended.
