The Odoo industry in France is on the move, and in the right direction. With the creation of Odoo Synergie – Network of French-speaking Odoo Integrators, a structuring collective dynamic is finally at work. Driven by integrators for integrators, this initiative aims to bring together the forces on the ground, set a common framework and give Odoo the place it deserves in the French market.

On July 10 at 6 pm, the first meeting since the network's creation will take place.

In person in Angers, if at least five of the tribe are on site, and by video call, of course, so that everyone can take part wherever they are.

A stated ambition: organize and transform the Odoo industry

This network is neither a mere friendly circle nor a think tank. It is a genuine structuring project, with a clear ambition: to organize a professional Odoo industry able to meet market requirements, notably against giants such as Oracle, Microsoft, SAP or Sage.

These players have considerable resources:

  • Armies of consultants
  • Well-oiled distribution channels
  • Established institutional visibility

It is up to us, Odoo integrators, to show that we have the expertise, the legitimacy and the ability to organize to take the open-source ERP to new heights.

Three strategic committees to frame the action

From the start, Odoo Synergie rests on a concrete organization: three strategic committees have been formed. Each focuses on a major lever of transformation.

1. Relations with the publisher

Led by Charles Pluyette, this committee will address the fundamental points of the relationship between Odoo S.A. and integrators:

  • Certifications
  • Support access
  • Business model
  • Sharing of sales opportunities

2. Communication, events & lobbying

Led by Charline Heurtault, this committee's mission will be to:

  • Increase the industry's visibility
  • Organize events (meetups, trade shows, conferences)
  • Build bridges with employers' federations (CPME, MEDEF…)

3. Training & schools

Led by Dylan Waltzing, this committee tackles a key topic for the future:

  • Forge strong partnerships with educational institutions
  • Improve the quality of Odoo training
  • Help build a pool of new qualified talent

An operational, collaborative and forward-looking network

Odoo Synergie is not an empty shell or a top-down entity. It is an agile network, driven by people on the ground, where everyone can contribute according to their means, ideas and commitments.

The committees work autonomously, but share their progress, doubts and priorities. Regular reviews will make it possible to adjust the roadmaps and stay on course.

July 10: a founding first milestone

At this July 10 meeting:

  • Each committee lead will present their vision
  • An open discussion will help mobilize volunteers
  • The collective roadmap will be laid out

It is a key moment. A founding moment. An opportunity to join the momentum, to contribute to a project bigger than any of us, and to bring about a strong, visible and lasting French Odoo industry.

In conclusion: Odoo deserves better. Let's give it the means.

What we are launching with Odoo Synergie is not a simple association.

It is a collective infrastructure, designed to carry the ambitions of the French-speaking Odoo community far.

It is up to us to turn this momentum into real strength.

See you on July 10, at 6 pm, in Angers or by video call.

To lay together the first stones of an industry built for the future.
